Charlotte Anne, Duchess of Buccleuch and Queensberry VA (1811-1895) was born Lady Charlotte Anne Thynne, daughter of the 2nd Marquess of Bath. In 1829 she married, at St George's, Hanover Square, the 5th Duke of Buccleuch. She served as Mistress of the Robes to Queen Victoria, a post later also filled by her daughter-in-law Louisa. She was mother of the 6th Duke of Buccleuch and the 1st Lord Montagu of Beaulieu. She converted to Roman Catholicism.
