Notes:

Frances Selina Isabella Poyntz was the daughter of William Poyntz and the Hon. Elizabeth Mary Browne. She married, first, Colonel Robert Cotton Trefusis, 18th Lord Clinton, in 1814. Her second marriage, in 1835, was to Colonel Sir Horace Beauchamp Seymour.

Miss Adelaide Seymour (1825-1877) was Lady Clinton's step-daughter. In 1854 she married Frederick, 4th Earl Spencer.

Lady Clinton had been a Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Adelaide, the Queen Consort of William IV.
