These charts, while of only peripheral interest to researchers of the Kidner family, may be of greater interest to family historians as early attempts to chart descendancy.
1. The progeny of William Bentley of Shepshed
This chart is drawn over a side and a half of 'Pot' sized paper with a 'B. Clements' watermark with a figure of Britannia and a date/number of 1832. William Bentley had married Hester Durance on 2 September 1741; Helena Marling (at the foot of the chart) was born in about 1839.

2. The descendants of Josiah George of Lyndhurst
The attached descendancy chart was drafted - or completed - at some time after 1836 (the marriage of Thomas Hill and Elizabeth Wyatt was in that year), and plots some three generations of the descendants of Josiah George of Lyndhurst (c.1725 - ?). Josiah's great-great-great grandaughter Aimée Margery Aldridge George married William Elworthy Kidner. Surnames listed include Aldridge, Colcott, Fox, George, Golden, Griffith, Grimes, Hill, Nicke, Purdy, Robinson, Shaw, Shilley, Stockman, Tilbury, Tuck, Westlake, Wyatt.
The chart has been drawn on a single side of 'pot'-sized paper (15½ x 12¾ inches), manufactured by W. Horsington and watermarked with a figure of Britannia and the (?) date/number 1849.
