IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN One thousand Six Hundred ffortie Six I RIchard Kitner of the parish of Cutcomb being in perfect memory thanckes bee to God doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following ffirst I give and bequeath my soule unto Almighty God my Maker and Redeemer and my bodie to the Christian buriall.
I give unto the parish church of Cutcomb twelve pence.
Item I give to the poore of the parish of Cutcomb two shillings
Item I give to Elizabeth Wood the daughter of Robert Wood of Cutcomb two pounds and to John Wood Robert Wood and Nicholas Wood sonns of the said Robert Wood twenty shillings apeice; theis sommes of money so given to bee paid by my executrix with one yeare after my decease.
Item I give unto John Westcot, the sonn of John Westcott of Wotton Curtney, one ashen coffer.
Item I give unto my wife Johan Kitner the bed which wee doe lye uppon with the bedstead pillowes blankets and coverlids belonging to the same, and tenn sheepe ffive weathers and five yewes.
Item I give unto William Wood and Martyn Wood the sonns of Robert Wood one sheepe apiece.
Item I give unto all my godchildren six pence apeice.
All the rest of my goods not given nor bequeathed, my debts and legacies paid and my funeralls discharged, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Christian Thorne the wife of John Thorne whom I make my whole and sole executrix.
In wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand the nyne and twentieth daie of May in the yeare above said in the presence of us underwritten
